With the exception of last weekend’s getaway, this morning was the first day I actually had to reach for an actual coat in my closet… and then remember all of And of my coats were at the dry cleaners… but don’t worry, I survived
Now that the weather has decided to make a shift, I’m doing the same with my skincare routine. Autumn brings cooler weather and a drop in humidity, which makes for dry, stale air and even drier skin. To prevent this, I’ve rounded up the beauty products I’m stashing up on to keep my skin looking happy, happy and hydrated all season long.
Tata Harper Repairative Moisturizer
Fall is the best time to break out your richer moisturizers. I’ll admit, I’m a big Tata Harper fan (you should see my bathroom shelf), but this moisturizer is incredibly hydrating and leaves a dewy finish – perfect for pre-foundation or after washing my face. Plus, the smell is addicting.
Too Cool For School Pumpkin 24k Gold Sheet Mask
Okay, first of all, how cute (and timely) is this packaging? Secondly, this mask packs in more nourishment than normal for a fraction of the price with pumpkin extract and 24k gold – wild, right? – for optimal results. I may even have one on as I am typing this up right now…
Boscia Charcoal Jelly Ball Cleanser
As the weather gets chillier, it’s best to put away the more cleansers with extra ingredients (such as exfoliates) to continue to prevent from stripping the skin and dehydrating it. This charcoal jelly ball is one of the coolest products I’ve seen on the market – you literally squish and lather the charcoal-based formula onto your face (or lather on your hands first) and massage around your face. Not to mention, Boscia is known for its botanical and all-natural ingredients, so you know exactly what is going on your skin.
Lanolips 101 Ointment Fruities
Truthfully, I had never heard of Lanolips until my friend introduced it to me (she uses it for everything plus – from her lips, to eyeshadow and blush to even dry spots and cuticles – there’s a reason it’s known for 101 uses!). I couldn’t believe how quick it sealed in the moisture on my lips. Plus, it stays on incredibly well and is made with natural ingredients (are you sensing a theme? I’ve started to become very cautious about the ingredients in my products).
Tata Harper Retinoic Nutrient Face Oil
I love indulging in a trustworthy face oil where I don’t have to worry about breaking out or feeling like it’s too heavy on my skin. Not to mention that it leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrated and glowing for hours afterwards.
